Hiking in Ireland: Day 2 on the Dingle Way

Sunday- Father's Day, 18 June 2017

I certainly am earning my sheperd's pie and Guinness!  After our first marathon day of hiking, the second day was 13 miles from Camp Ireland to Anascaul Ireland.  We wandered on pretty level ground, with nice trails and glorious sunshine.

Our Fearless Leader, Pat, showing us the trail signs for day 2, Camp to Anascaul
A snack break --- literally on the road!

Lovely Stream as we look to the ocean.

And there is was, the ocean and we were headed to the beach for a lunch break.
So on down toward the ocean, and very cool water that felt fabulous on our feet.
Kerri enjoying the cool cool water on her feet.

My feet loving every cool minute.

The photo above is the tourist thing to do.... we see it Kailua beach all the time!

For 10 Euros, surf school.
Ice cream tastes great!

Then back to the trail and on into Anascaul.

Flowers on the road.

Shepherd's Pie.  Awesome and I ate all of it.

14 miles today, climbed the equivalent of 48 story building.

Aloha and stay tuned for Day 3.
